Flowers For You Too
Flowers For You
The Carpenter

Once upon a time, two brothers who lived on adjoining farms fell into conflict. It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side-by-side, sharing machinery and trading labor and goods as needed without a hitch.
Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference and finally, it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence.
One morning there was a knock on John's door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter's toolbox. "I 'm looking for a few days' work," he said. "Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there I could help with? Could I help you?"
"Yes," said the older brother. "I do have a job for you. Look across the creek at that farm. That's my neighbor. In fact, it's my younger brother! Last week there was a meadow between us. He recently took his bulldozer to the river levee and now there is a creek between us. Well, he may have done this to spite me, but I'll do him one better. See that pile of lumber by the barn? I want you to build me a fence an 8-foot fence -- so I won't need to see his place or his face anymore."
The carpenter said, "I think I understand the situation. Show me the nails and the post-hole digger and I'll be able to do a job that pleases you."
The older brother had to go to town, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day. The carpenter worked hard all that day -- measuring, sawing and nailing. About sunset when t he farmer returned, the carpenter had just finished his job.
The farmer's eyes opened wide, his jaw dropped. There was no fence there at all.
It was a bridge .. a bridge that stretched from one side of the creek to the other! A fine piece of work, handrails and all! And the neighbor, his younger brother, was coming toward them, his hand outstretched..
"You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I've said and done."
The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in middle, taking each other's hand. They turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox onto his shoulder.
"No, wait! Stay a few days. I've a lot of other projects for you," said the older brother.
"I'd love to stay on," the carpenter said, "but I have many more bridges to build."
=====================================================
Remember This...
God won't ask what kind of car you drove, but He'll ask how many people you helped get where they needed to go.
God won't ask the square footage of your house, but He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.
God w on't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, but He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.
God won't ask how many friends you had, but He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, but He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.
God won't ask about the color of your skin, but He'll ask about the content of your character.
God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, but He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in Heaven, and not to the gates of hell.
THE DONKEY

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the
animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon,
everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of
the well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to
getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less
NOW --------
Enough of that crap . . .
The donkey later came back, and bit the shit out of the farmer who had
tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected, and the farmer
eventually died in agony from septic shock.
MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:
When you do something wrong, and try to cover your ass, it always comes back to bite you.

LIVE WHILE YOU'RE ALIVE - HOW TO STAY YOUNG
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. (Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches.)
3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath... And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.
6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. LIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
8. Remember: Your home is your refuge.
9. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help. You are worth it!
10. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
11. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
12. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.
Natural Beauty Tips
Exfoliant - Natural Sugar
Take two tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of
olive oil. Mix.
Rub this mixture on your hands and feet to
exfoliate and moisten dead dry skin. Rinse with warm water to get sugar off
only and pat dry with towel.
Exfoliating - benefits and methods
What should we think of skin which sloughs off
after a bath? Small, loose, ´rolling´ bits are dry skin, usually, ready to be
"shed". Unusually large pieces or raw areas should be shown to a
doctor.
An exfoliating soap used once a week will help take
this skin off in the bath. Exfoliating soaps contain some sort of abrasive
product such as oatmeal. Oatmeal soap has many skin benefits and has been known
to also give relief to insect bites or plant irritations such as poison ivy or
poison oak.
Vigorous rubbing with the bath towel will help
remove extra dry skin. I like to keep a pumice tool or pumice stone near the
shower to help with skin ready to be shed, especially around heels and elbows.
One benefit of keeping ahead of the build up of
skin ready to be shed will be found around your feet. The extra build up can
become a callous which can lead to painful cracks in the flesh, especially
during dry weather. Usually this extra skin build up is not unhealthy, but I
feel so good after a good rubbing to get rid of it!
lemon - Blackhead and dead skin fighter
Get 1 Small lemon, sliced
Rub the slice of lemon over your nose to help
dissolve dirt which may be stuck in your pores.
Use the other slices to rub on your elbows and
feet, in a circular motion to exfoliate your skin.
Easy on the Eyes
Wipe years away from your face and feelings, just
like that!
Hydrating undereye balms from the cosmetic counter,
or a cotton ball with some cooling witch hazel on it, or just a plain icy cold
cloth are some items that will help do away with puffiness, and age giveaway
for three or four hours.
Don´t get any of these items into your eyes.
Make all applications gently; rubbing stretches the
skin around the eyes and can leave bruises.
Homemade Mouthwash
This is a recipe that I have been using for a while
now for a Natural Homemade Mouthwash. It leaves a great refreshing minty taste
in your mouth and helps prevent bad breathe.
Mix 2 ounces of Water, 1/4 Teaspoon of baking soda
or Sea Salt, 1 drop of Pure Peppermint Oil, and 1 drop of Tea Tree oil.
Rosemary Hair Oil
For problems such as greasy hair and itchy scalp,
try this oil.
3 1/2 ounces soy oil
1/2 teaspoon wheatgerm oil (this is a thick oil)
2 teaspoons Rosemary essential oil
1 teaspoon cedarwood oil
Mix the ingredients and shake the botle. Let rest
for a few days before applying. Put a little on the scalp for a few hours
before shampooing. Massage gently for a few minutes and cover with a warm towel
to help absorbtion, then wash off.
Anti-Aging Face Mask
Ingredients:
1/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Medium Banana (peeled)
1 Vitamin E Capsule
Directions:
Mash the banana in a small bowl, while adding the
whipped cream. Stir in contents of the capsule. Smooth onto face and neck.
Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Wipe off with a damp cloth.
Pre-treat for dandruff
An effective pre-shampoo treatment to combat
dandruff can be made with these ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Grapeseed Oil
3 Drops Wheatgerm oil
8 Drops Thyme essential oil
Mix together and store in a dark bottle. Rub a
little into the scalp and roots of the hair briskly for a few minutes. Wrap
hair in a towel and leave for an hour or more. Shampoo out completely. You may
need 2 or 3 applications of shampoo.
Shiny Hair treatment
This is better than a simple hot oil treatment. It
leaves the hair looking stunning-thick, luxuriant, and shiny. The effects last
a long time, even the light scent of the essential oil will linger through
several shampoos.
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 Tablespoon almond oil
1 drop rosemary essential oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Before applying, moisten your hair slightly by
running wet fingers through it, then massage the egg mixture into hair and scalp.
Wrap head in a towel or shower cap and and sit back
and relax (try a sauna, long hot bath, or just relax in a warm place). The heat
of a sauna is the best environment for this treatment.
Leave the pack on for one hour, if possible, even
two or three!
To cleanse, rinse hair in mildly warm water, then
apply a generous amount of shampoo directly to the hair, wash well, and rinse
well.
Follow with your regular conditioner and rinse.
Healthy Nails
Healthiest nails are usually those in the natural state.
A good diet, regular application of hand cream and
protection from harsh chemicals will usually result in easy to maintain,
healthy fingernails.
Nail biting is the most destructive to both nails
and cuticles.
Studies have found that nail polish doesn´t damage
the nails and may offer some protection.
Bedtime Bath Jelly
1/2 cup water
1 envelope unflavored gelatine (like knox)
1/2 cup liquid soap
6 drops lavender essential oil
Food coloring 2d red + 1d blue= violet(optional)
Heat the water until boiling and dissolve the gelatine in it.
Remove from heat, Stir gently and blend in 1/2 cup
liquid soap, do not whip the mixture or it could become foamy.
Pour the mixture into a mason jar. Put in the
refrigerator to gel(solidify).
To use, place a small amount of jelly under running
bath water.
Lip Balm Homemade
An inexpensive way to keep your lips soft in all
kinds of weather.
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon glycerin
2 tablespoons honey
Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl. To use,
apply to chapped lips with your finger or a cotton ball. Use as often as
necessary for chapped lips until condition improves. Store refrigerated in a
tightly covered jar.
Olive oil is therapeutic in itself, glycerin and
honey draw moisture to the surface of your lips. Dryness contributes to
chapping, but licking your lips doesn´t put the moisture where it´s needed.
Homemade cranberry lip gloss
Cranberry Lip Gloss
Protect sensitive lips from the drying winter
elements with this simple yet rich lip balm. Delightful to wear alone or on top
of your lipstick for extra shine!
1 Tablespoon sweet almond oil
10 Fresh cranberries
1 Teaspoon honey
1 Drop vitamin E oil
Mix all the ingredients together in a
microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for two minutes or until the mixture just begins
to boil. (Bowl may also be heated in a pan of water on a stovetop). Stir well
and gently crush the berries. Cool mixture for five minutes and then strain
through a fine sieve to remove all the fruit pieces. Stir again and set aside
to cool completely. When cool, transfer into a small portable plastic container
or tin.
Heavy duty Gardeners Cream
Heavy Duty Gardeners Hand Cream
2 Tablespoons of shaved beeswax
1/2 Teaspoon of carnuba wax
2 Tablespoons of jojoba oil
1 Teaspoon of aloe vera gel
10 drops of Vitamin E oil (or 4 capsules)
1 drop of your favorite essential oil for fragrance
Melt the first four ingredients in a stainless
steel pot on the stove or use a glass pyrex cup in the microwave. Remove from
heat and beat until cool, adding the Vitamin E oil before mixture thickens. Continue
beating until this mixture becomes creamy. Add your favorite essential oil,
continue beating until smooth.
Babywash - makeup remover
For a gentle way to remove makeup use babywash.
Your skin will love you for it.
Liquid Shower Soap
This shower soap is ideal for everyday use.
1/2 Cup distilled water
1/2 Cup orange flower water
1 Tablespoon dried peppermint leaves
1 Tablespoon dried chamomile
1 Tablespoon dried rose petals
1 Tablespoon orange blossoms
1/2 Tablespoon unscented glycerin soap
1 Teaspoon castor oil
Combine the distilled water and orange flower water
in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and add the
dried peppermint, chamomile, rose petals and orange blossoms. Let steep for one hour.
Strain the herbs and flowers from the water and
reheat gently. Add the glycerin soap and stir in the castor oil. Let cool to
room temperature and pour into a plastic bottle.
Stand up for Beauty
Want to wipe years away from the way you feel and
the way you look? Stand tall! When you move with your head high, your shoulders
back and a purposeful stride, you project a youthful vigor, breathe better,
look and feel better. Try it, you´ll like it! Pretend there´s a string from the
top of your head to the ceiling helping you to STAND TALL.
To Smooth Your Skin
For smooth skin mix sugar and olive oil and spread
on skin in a circular motion.
It gets rid of dry skin as well.
Sweet Banana Mask
Mash up one banana really well in a bowl, add
enough sugar to desired consistency (thickness). It doesn´t matter how much,
just make it right for YOU.
Add a few drops of mint smelling flavor, this will
make the mask cooling and it smells great.
Mix it together to a thick paste.
The sugar acts as an exfoliant and the banana is a
great moisturizer. Leaves your skin as soft as a baby´s bottom, just massage
gently onto you skin briefly and let stand till dry, then rinse with warm
water, use on any part of the body that needs to be softened.
Bald eyebrows
Rub bad spots of overplucked eyebrows with a
BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring , and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts.
Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more.
We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits.
Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."
Because :
Evening at 9 - 11 PM : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1 am : is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3 am : detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5 am : detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am : detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9 am : absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30 am , for those who are sick.
Breakfast before 7:30 am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10 am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals.
Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.
Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.
DO TAKE CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH......
CHRISTIAN WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 . Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU. "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)
Reflections on Life
Our life cannot always be full of happiness
but it can always be full of love!
He who is blind to the view of our souls,
will not enjoy and see life as it is.
The more you plan, the less likely you will experience chance,
therefore live life to the fullest.
A true friend is one who holds your hand
and thus touches your heart.
When we get married, we won’t know what lies ahead
Until we hit the waves of life at sea.
Life is reality without an eraser!
Nothing in the future, will correct those moments
that you have missed in the past.
Don’t waste time with someone
who won’t support you in time of need.
Always look at the bright side of life.
If there is no bright side,
wait until the future turns to light.
Don’t cry over what has happened in the past,
but be happy that you could enjoy the moment.
Always remember the words from a true friend:
“I’ll be there for you”
Work, as if you don’t need money.
Love, as if nobody has hurt you.
Dance, as if nobody was watching you.
Sing, as if nobody was listening.
Live, as if this was paradise on earth
Don’t dispair, the nicest things will happen to you
when you least expect them...
And remember:
“Everything that happens,
happens for a reason!”
